Best Canvas Fabric: How to Choose the Right Canvas by Weight, Weave, Texture, and Finish

The best canvas fabric is not a single material. The right choice depends on how the canvas is constructed, how much it weighs, the character of its weave, the amount of surface texture it has, and whether it is raw, primed, or otherwise finished.
